The faster plan is not always the better plan

500 up versus 450 upInfinity Max gives you nearly twice the download of Pulse 500, but 50 Mbps less upload. If your work is mostly coming down — cloud apps, browsing, streaming — take Infinity Max. If you push data the other way — offsite backups, video files, a lot of people on video calls, VoIP handsets — Pulse 500 is the better connection, and it is the cheaper one.

Most providers will sell you the bigger number. We would rather you ended up on the right one.

No contract, which is rarer than it sounds

Business fibre in New Zealand is usually sold on a 24 month term, and leaving early costs you. Ours is month to month. Pay $149 to get installed and then you are free. If we stop being good at this, you go somewhere else.

Free install, but locked in

The “no installation fee” offers you will see elsewhere are usually attached to a two year term. The install is not free, it is spread across 24 payments you cannot stop.

$149 once, then nothing

Pay the install and keep your freedom. That works out cheaper than a two year term the moment you would have wanted out of it.

30 days notice, that is all

No exit fee, no repaying a joining credit, no argument. Give us a month and we part on good terms.

Fibre in New Zealand is built by different local companies, and the top speed available depends on whose network your building sits on. We would rather tell you now than have you find out on install day.

What you need to get connected

A standard install, $149

Covers a standard connection. Complex installs are quoted separately, and we tell you before we do the work rather than after.

A router that can keep up

Bring your own if it is up to the job, or take ours for $289. On a 950 Mbps connection a tired old router is usually the thing holding you back.

Put the phones on the same bill

Most of our internet customers take their phone lines from us as well. One provider, one invoice, and when something goes wrong nobody gets to blame the other party.

Keep your existing number, and the standard features cost nothing extra: call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding, voicemail and call recording.

HyperFibre runs at 2Gbps or 4Gbps, symmetrical, from $119.95 excl GST. If you move large files all day, the step up from Infinity Max is about $10 a month.

Common questions about business fibre

Which plan should I take?

If your team mostly downloads, Infinity Max at $109.50. If you upload a lot — offsite backups, video, plenty of VoIP handsets — Pulse 500 at $99 gives you more upload for less money. Tell us what your business actually does and we will say which one fits.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month on both plans, with 30 days notice when you want to stop. No exit fee and no joining credit to repay.

Is it available at my address?

Not everywhere, and the top speed depends on which network your building is on. Send us the address and we will check before you commit to anything.

Do I need a static IP?

Only if you are hosting something, running a VPN back to the office, or have equipment that needs a fixed address. A private IP is included and a static IP is $7 a month.

Can I use my own router?

Yes. If it can handle the speed you are paying for, keep it. We supply a suitable one for $289 if yours cannot.

Will my phones work well on it?

Yes, and better than on a consumer connection. We prioritise voice traffic across our own network so calls stay clear when the connection is busy.

Do prices include GST?

No. Every price on this page excludes GST.

Broadband terms and conditions

All prices above are ex GST
  1. The speeds shown for each plan are the maximum the plan can deliver. What you actually get depends on things like your equipment, your internal wiring and how many people are using the connection at once, as well as how other networks deliver data to and from ours. We cannot guarantee the service will always be available or that it will suit any particular purpose.
  2. On an uncapped or unlimited plan there is no limit on how much you upload or download. We may use traffic prioritisation to protect the network and keep performance fair for everyone. Speeds and latency to servers in New Zealand and overseas are affected by factors outside our network, and connections beyond our network are on a best effort basis.
  3. To keep voice and video calls clear, we manage other internet traffic on our network to avoid packet loss, latency and jitter. Kiwi VoIP voice traffic is prioritised and is never throttled.
  4. Unlimited plans are intended for a single end customer. Running server farms, or sharing one connection across multiple customers, is not permitted.
  5. If you are on a capped plan, extra data can be added in 20GB blocks at $15.00 per block, and unused blocks expire at the end of the month. Once you reach your data limit your internet traffic is slowed to 256k until the next billing month. Your Kiwi VoIP voice traffic keeps running at full speed.
  6. Business fibre is not available at every address, and the top speed depends on the local fibre network. In Chorus areas Pulse 500 runs at 500/500 Mbps, in UFF areas 300/300 Mbps and in Northpower areas 100/100 Mbps. We confirm what applies to your address before you order.
  7. All circuits include a static IP. Choose a Kiwi VoIP private IP, or a public IP for an additional fee. One public IP per connection.
  8. Listed prices cover standard installations. Complex installations are quoted separately, and we will tell you the cost before any work is done.
  9. Additional charges, such as a no fault found fee, will be on charged where they apply.
  10. Services are sold on a prepay basis and billed in advance, for the part month on install and monthly after that.
  11. You can cancel at any time with 30 days notice. The notice period is billed in advance and there are no part month refunds.
